Meal Plan Basics

Meal plans start on the first day of orientation.

You can use your meal plan swipes at MacDonald Dining Center and Farrell Commons for all-you-care-to-eat dining. Bronco Bucks may be used towards all food and beverage purchases at all campus dining locations.

Participation in the meal plan is an important part of the support system provided by living on campus. It is one element that enhances the academic efforts and social adjustment of new students and provides health and convenience benefits to all students.

All students living on campus are required to be on a meal plan. On-campus students will automatically be billed for the Unlimited, $350 Bronco Bucks plan. If the $350 Bronco Bucks is not your plan of choice, you must change your meal plan in the CADI Office. You only have the first 10 days of classes to make a change, so don't delay!

For off-campus students and residents of Riverview Townhouses meal plans are optional but recommended. Meal plan participants must adhere to all meal plan change/cancellation policies once a plan is purchased.

The deadline to select your meal plan is the Friday of the 2nd week of classes. Commuter students may select a meal plan at any time, selections must be made in person at the CADI office. If a plan is added after the Friday of the 2nd week of classes it will not be added to the student bill and must be paid for in person.

Yes! Off-campus studens and residents of Riverview Townhouses may purchase any meal plan we offer. You can add a meal plan today by visiting the CADI office.

All residential students are required to be on a meal plan. To change your meal plan selection, visit the CADI office. You only have the first 10 days of classes to make a change, so don't delay!

Guests are allowed. Guests without a meal plan can use cash or credit to purchase a meal. All of our meal plans also come with bonus meals that you can use for guests!

Bronco Dining works to provide a variety of menu options for those with food allergies, intolerances, and/or special dietary needs. All menu boards make it easy to identify the top 9 most common food allergies which are: fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, wheat, soy, eggs, and dairy. However, the occurrence of product substitutions and last-minute menu changes are possible, which may affect the accuracy of menu boards/signage. Please communicate any food allergy concerns with the dining manager.

Simply 3 is a station in Farrell Commons that provides safe and appetizing food choices for our customers with food allergies and gluten intolerance. All foods served at this station are prepared with ingredients that do not contain milk, nuts (peanuts and tree nuts), or gluten.

If you need additional support, our registered dietitian Dr. Kelly Martin DCN, RDN, CDN, is available for free consultations to assist with finding options for any dietary needs or preferences. You can contact Kelly at (607) 436-2764 or by email: martinkk@delhi.edu.

Meal plans end the day students leave for break. The final day for Fall 2026 is December 18th.
